The former Museum of Rail and Track at Angelholm is administered jointly with the collection at Gavle by Banverket, the national railway company. The museum, located in a locomotive shed of 1898, portrays primarily the ways of life of workers, the navvies who constructed railways, signalmen, locomen and station staff. Some locomotives are displayed, there is a large model collection, and visitors can experience footplate conditions on simulators.
