The centre of interpretation of the techniques of navigation at Santa Katalina lighthouse offers the opportunity to experience the feelings of the sailors who, lost at sea, see the light of the lighthouse, which guides them back home. Through technological means, the visitor can learn the basics of navigation from ancient times up to the the present time, put what they have learned into practice in a virtual boat trip from Lekeitio to Elantxobe, and see a wonderful sunset from the terrace of the lighthouse as well as spectacular views of the Biscayan and Guipuzcoan coast. It is the first beacon that can be visited in Euskadi.
