Leineperi Ironworks

Leineperi Ironworks is located in The City of Ulvila, the second oldest city in Finland. It stands as one of the best-preserved and architecturally perfect ironworks areas in the country presenting the early stages of in­dustrialisation in Finland with architectural perfection. Founded in 1771by Major Berndt Johan Hastfehr, Leineperi Ironworks expertly processed pig iron im­ported from Sweden, harnessing the energy of the Katokoski rapids and charcoal.
