Topacz Motor Museum

The Topacz automobile museum is just outside Wrocław at Topacz castle. It has 200 exhibits. The strongest focus is on Polish products. The museum has a representative collection of pre-war Polish cars, which include the Fiat 508, which was assembled in Poland. Cars from the post-war period of the People’s Republic of Poland include the Mikrus micro-car built in the late 1950s, the Syrena made from 1957 to 1983, and the Warszawa, of which a quarter of a million were manufactured. There are commercial vehicles by Nysa, Żuk and Star. Polish motorcycles include the Falcon 1000, Sokół and Junak. Also well represented are Bentley and Rolls Royce cars from 1933 to 2005. American cars in the museum include Ford models ‘T’, Thunderbird and Mustang and models by Buick, Studebaker and Lincoln. There are also cars by Volkswagen, Mercedes, Citroen, Jaguar, Maserati and Ferrari. All the cars are kept in beautiful condition and many are rented for films and weddings.
