Aeropark

The Aeropark is an open-air museum of aircraft and aviation at Ferenc Liszt International Airport. It focuses mainly on civilian aircraft used by the former Hungarian state airline Malév. The museum opened in 1988. The aircraft on display include a Lisunov passenger airliner of 1952, three Ilyushin aircraft, one of which was formerly used by the Soviet Red Army, two Tupolev planes, a Jakovlev test plane, an Antonov biplane used in agriculture and a Mil helicopter ambulance. Most of the aircraft are in the Malév colours. Many can be visited inside as well as viewed from outside. Visitors can also see a Tesla radar tower and ground handling vehicles and can experience a flight simulator.
