Monte Igueldo Cable Car

The oldest cable car in Euskadi covers 312.5 metres at a speed of 1.5 m/s, climbing 151 metres. It was opened on 25 August 1912, and its wooden carriages still conserve the charm of that period.

From the base of the mountain, the cable car takes you directly to the panoramic terraces of Mount Igueldo, where, in addition to spectacular views, the ancient amusement park will delight both young and old: the Swiss Mountain, the Mysterious River or the Great Maze have maintained their essence from times gone by and the personality of historic parks. It was declared a monumental ensemble in 2014.
