Aeroseum

Aeroseum, located in what was once a secret underground military base dating from 1955, is principally a museum of military aircraft of the Cold War period but it includes some exhibits relating to civilian air transport. It originated in 2005 and includes sections on Swedish air defences, aerospace communications and the Stasi secret service in the former German Democratic Republic (DDR). One section features the celebrated Swedish aviator Jerker Berg (1940-2014), who was injured in air accident, and was confined to a wheelchair but nevertheless continued to fly. Since 2008 the museum has held the Swedish military heritage collection. Aircraft on display include Draken and Viggen fast jets and several helicopters.
