Nikola Tesla Museum

The Nikola Tesla Museum is one of the world's most unique scientific and cultural institutions, because its collection contains Tesla's valuable legacy. Tesla (1856 - 1943) is a Serbian-American inventor and scientist, a pioneer in electrification, significantly influenced the technological development of our civilization by his polyphase system inventions. This system is the cornerstone of modern electro-energetic system of production, long distance transmission and usage of electrical currents, electricity and communication.

The museum hosts Tesla's original documents, as well as his books, journals, photographs, original instruments, devices, and personal items and is also in posession of the urn with Tesla's remains. It is a location on the cultural route 'Tesla Ways'.

Specially trained guides present the magnificent working models of Tesla’s machines, his various personal items, and his visions of the future. Visitors can even find out how some of his famous inventions work. The exclusive film on Tesla’s life is also played during the tour.
