Museum of the granite industry

In the exhibition area you can see 19th and 20th century quarrying technology, including a stonegate saw and a fully equipped forge. An 1100-metre long nature trail leads around the Kesselbruch. Display boards explain to visitors the geological structure of the quarry, the flora and fauna typical of a quarry site and the technical installations. In 2005, the nature trail was extended by a lookout point, which allows a view into the considerably larger neighbouring quarry.
