The strapline of the Lamborghini Museum is ‘unexpected experiences’. It is part of the car-maker’s factory between Bologna and Modena. The museum explains the history and iconic models of the Lamborghini car company, started by Ferruccio Lamborghini in 1963. He made his reputation designing and manufacturing farm tractors and decided to move into a completely new business producing high-performance sports touring cars. The two-storey museum aims to display a family tree of all the car models ever produced by the company. It begins with the Miura sports coupé of 1966 and the Countach of 1974. It continues the story after Ferruccio Lamborghini left the business and displays super-sports cars like the hybrid Asterion of 2014, the Centenario, the Huracán Performante and unique concept cars. The museum includes an interactive driving simulator and gives tours of the factory production lines.
