The Site
Horsens is a city with long commercial and industrial traditions. The Museum of Workers, Craftsmen and Industry was opened in 1977 in the municipal power station building of 1906. Displays including steam engines, printing, brewing and tobacco-working machines, all displayed in the context of their social environment. Two workers’ apartments are preserved in situ, adjacent to the main building, and are appropriately furnished.
