New Service for international visitors at the F60 in Lichterfeld/Germany

On 1st September pariticipants of the TICCIH congress visited the giant overburden conveyer bridge F60 in Lichterfeld/Germany during one of their excursions. This occassion was also the official start of the new audio guide system that provides guided tours in English and Polish.

The invention of the new system was made possble by the regional programme „Förderung gemeinnütziger Projekte im Landkreis Elbe-Elster“. The Sennheiser Audio Guide system from the local company GPT enalbes now guided tours in English and Polish at the F60. Additional languages and more units are planned for the next couple of years.

This new service means a considerable increase in quality for international visitors of the site, as individuals or smaller groups can be guided together with a German speaking group. First bookings for Polish guided tours were already received for September.
