
In February 2008 ERIH founded a registered Association based on German law for the continuation of the ERIH network. At last all administrative barriers have been overcome and the registration of the ERIH – European Route of Industrial Heritage e.V. is now legal.The priorities of the new Association will be the maintenance and continuation of the achievements from the ERIH project. Already today, ERIH is one of the most comprehensive cultural networks and information portals in Europe.

In addition to the already existing membership for Anchor Points, there is a new membership category for sites which do not (yet) fulfil the quality criteria for Anchor Points, but still want to be part of the network. They can become members for a lower annual fee with a reduced service pack. Currently there are four membership categories with voting rights.More details can be found in the membership information, for your application, please use form below.The first General Assembly of the ERIH Association will be during the conference on Saturday 15 November 2008 from 9 to 11 o’clock at the World Heritage Site Zollverein in Essen, Germany.
