First international Tourist Fair of Industrial Heritage and Underground Tourism in Zabrze/Poland

The fist edition of the International Tourist Fair of Industrial Heritage and Underground Tourism, a pioneer event worldwide, will be held on 10-12 September 2009 in Zabrze on the occasion of the well-known Conference on the Industrial Heritage.

The organizers of the fair include the Zabrze City Office, MOSiR in Zabrze, and the Media Sol Company. Business meetings of tourist trade professionals (10 Sept.) will have the form of a workshop, while the open to the public meetings will be accompanied by numerous attractions and concerts (11-12 Sept.).

The fair addresses: representatives of industrial heritage sites and institutions from Poland, Europe and the whole world as well as all those who manage sites, objects, routes and businesses opened to tourists: mines, historical industrial routes, breweries, vineyards and wine cellars, artistic crafts routes, chocolate and confectionery factories, coffee roasting rooms, jewelry workshops, perfumeries, caves, underground tourist routes, fortifications, and the like. Delegates of cities, regions and editors of tourist publications are also welcome to the fair.
