Workers’ Settlement Ficinus

This settlement was established in the years 1860-1867 for the workers of Gottessegen mine. The owners of the mine were industrialists from the line of the Donnersmarcks, who also founded the settlement. The colony consists of sixteen houses and is one of the oldest preserved patronage building complexes in Upper Silesia.
