Hessisches Landesmuseum Darmstadt

The museum, built by Alfred Messel in 1902, houses various interesting collections for example history of art, cultural history, geology, palaeontology and zoology. It is known as one of the very few universal museums in the world. Special exhibitions that take place regularly complete the museums offer.
