Museum of the Narrow-Gauge Septemvri-Dobrinishte

The home-museum of the narrow-gauge Septemvri - Dobrinishte is railway is run by volunteers. It is located at Tsepina Station in the Chepinska River Gorge, 8 km from Varvara. The small, elegant station building has two storeys with waiting room and ticket office. It was restored in 2017. It presents the history of the 76-cm narrow-gauge railway from Septemvri to Dobrinishte which was built from 1921 to 1945. The railway still operates on the whole route of 125 km, rising to an altitude of nearly 1,300 m above sea level.
