Camera Obscura

The dome of the Broich water tower houses the world's largest accessible Camera Obscura. Three further floors of the museum deal with the prehistory of film. Imaginative and entertaining exhibits laid out on 16 key themes document the passage from stills to movies. Visitors gain unexpected insights into the worlds of visual perception, tricks of the light and the physical background of moving images.
