Telegraph connection Hoorn-Medemblik Steam Tram Museum in action

After the restoration of the station buildings and the adaptation of the infrastructure, now the telegraph line is in operation, with which messages between the stations about the train service can be exchanged with real working and writing telegraph apparatus.

The two apparatus are used to pass train safety messages. In addition, a telephone-, a blockwindow- and a clocksignal connection are made, all running through the wires over the wooden telegraphpoles between Twisk and Opperdoes. The historical image along the trail is now complete and hence .... All working.

In the autumn all is officially put into operation.
